The use of folders.io website services (the “Services”) is subject to the following Terms of Service (the “Terms”) which constitute a legal agreement between you (the “User”) and folders.io (“we” or “our”):
Copyright
We do not monitor, screen or otherwise review the files which are uploaded to or streamed through our Service by Users of the Service. Nevertheless, you should not publicly share through our Service files whose copyright you do not own or whose copyright holder hasn’t given you permission to do so. We take copyright violation very seriously and will vigorously protect the rights of legal copyright owners. We will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement if they comply with the law and are properly provided to us, as explained in our DMCA Policy.
Acceptable use
folders.io is a tool designed to help your personal life or your business by allowing you to very easily send or
share your files with friends, colleagues or yourself from remote locations.
Any use of our Services to support any kind of illegal activity forbidden by local and/or international
laws is a breach of these Terms and will result in immediate account termination.
Any type of probing, scanning or vulnerability testing will be considered as an attempt to
breach our systems security, and will be reported and acted upon in accordance to the law.
Billing
By subscribing to a premium account (Silver or Golden), you will be automatically charged every month through your Paypal account, by the same amount as stated in your plan description. You can cancel this automated billing directly in your Paypal account, after which your account plan will be changed to Free Registered. We do not make full or partial refunds to accounts canceled before the end of their billing cycle.
Bandwidth limiting
Access links that produce transfers of more than 10GB per day for free accounts or 100GB per day for premium accounts will be automatically suspended.
Termination
Any violation of these Terms will cause immediate account termination without giving right to any kind of refund.
Folders.io provides a service “as is”
The Service is provided “as is”, at your own risk, without express or implied warranty or condition of any kind. we also disclaim any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will folders.io, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, suppliers or licensors be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive, exemplary or consequential (including loss of use, data, business, or profits) damages, regardless of legal theory, whether or not folders.io has been warned of the possibility of such damages, and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.
Changes to the Terms of Service
This page will always hold the latest version of the Terms of Service, and
any change will be informed to our users.
